Hochkönig Region in 3 Days
Discover the Alpine Lebensgefühl
The Hochkönig region, nestled in the heart of the Austrian Alps, takes its name from the highest peak in the area, the Hochkönig mountain, which fittingly translates to "High King." It offers a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and authentic Alpine experiences. Home to the charming villages of Maria Alm, Dienten, and Mühlbach, this year-round destination boasts stunning views, exceptional cuisine, and a wealth of outdoor activities.

During the warmer months, hiking, biking, and family-friendly activities take centre stage. With a rich cultural heritage and warm, family-run accommodations, Hochkönig is the perfect alpine retreat throughout the year.
