Transport options to the Austrian Alps

Upon arrival in Munich from one of Lufthansa’s 12 U.S. gateways, take a comfortable transfer service to Austria’s mountainside.

Bus/Van transfer

Train transfer

Austria's ski regions are very well connected by train.

Take the S-Bahn train from the terminals to Munich's central station. Trains to the Alps depart every hour.

Rental car

You can also rent a car at the airport and depart on a self-guided mountain adventure. Even in winter, the roads are safe and well taken care of.

Just make sure to ask about Austria's toll sticker at the car rentals located between Terminals 1 and 2.
